Recognising that the ambition is to create an organisation which encompasses the aims and aspirations of many, as a key step towards realising our vision, a “masthead” organisation to which we can all sign up will be a necessary requirement.
The key activities of this workstream will be to:
- Develop an agreed statement of common purpose.
- Agree and recommend the legal form for the new organisation eg a company limited by guarantee, a charitable trust, a charitable incorporated organisation or a cooperative.
- To secure alignment of the constituent member organisations to any proposed constitution.
- To become the focal point for promoting the leadership, aims and objectives of the “Vision 2025” programme with local and national organisations.
